The “Rising Pineapples” is a community dedicated to empower women around the globe.

It started off in 2018 as a yearly conference held in Berlin on International Women’s Day, with the aim to inspire, equip and connect women through short powerful talks, workshops and networking. Since then, Rising Pineapples has been expanding both in terms of reach and initiatives supporting female leadership from community-led virtual classes during the first COVID lock-down, online conferences and workshops, to our new podcast series in which we interview highly inspiring women to share their lived experiences.

We’re a team of dynamic, ambitious and seasoned professional women from varied backgrounds, driving this growing initiative as volunteers. To take it further and help us expand our reach, we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and contribute!  

As an intern at Rising Pineapples you’ll get to work side by side with us to help grow our brand reach and authority by contributing to our communication and event organization efforts. Through getting involved in a variety of topics, and being part of our team, you’ll gain hands-on experience about what it takes to build a successful non-profit organization, growing and emulating a community while also raising your exposure to female leaders in and beyond the Berlin business and start-up scene. 

Your tasks

• Administrative support including the official registration of Rising Pineapples as an organization, budget planning and management

• Community Management via Social Media content creation, regular posting and interaction with the community on our various Social Media channels

• Support with organizing online events inc. conceptualization, sourcing of partners/ speakers, sending newsletters etc.

• Support with developing our ambassadors' program to relay our initiative within companies

Requirements

Your spirit:

• You are PROACTIVE and bring a can-do attitude to drive your projects forward independently

• You are CREATIVE with a good eye for design, and ideally basic design skills (Adobe, Photoshop, Canva, other design and/or video editing softwares)

• You are willing to make a real IMPACT with what you do, influencing a growing community and leveraging your own network.

• You are a true PINEAPPLE: standing tall, balancing your crown and sweet on the inside . You are self confident, you know how to balance your efforts and have a positive and respectful attitude.

Your profile:

• You are studying/ about to complete your studies ideally in Business, Management, Communication, Psychology or a similar field

• You ideally bring prior working experience whether from companies or associations 

• You have a passion for leadership, women empowerment, entrepreneurship 

• You have outstanding people skills and excellent communication skills in English, written and verbally.

• You have a good command of English. German is a plus.

• You are available to work with us for ~20h per week or more, for 2 to 4 months, in Berlin or remotely
